NucSpot® Far-Red, 1000X in DMSO

Description

NucSpot® Far-Red is a DNA-binding dye formulated for flow cytometry applications, specifically for identifying non-viable cells. It is available as a 1000X concentrate in a 500 µL volume of DMSO. The dye exhibits fluorescence in the far-red spectrum, making it suitable for detection in channels commonly used for dyes like PE-Cy®5. Its primary application is as a dead cell stain, where it selectively labels the nuclei of cells with compromised membranes. The provided 500 µL quantity offers a larger working volume compared to some other formats. This reagent is intended for use in flow cytometry protocols where the discrimination of live and dead cell populations is necessary for accurate analysis.
