NucSpot® 680/700, 1000X in DMSO

Description

NucSpot® 680/700 is a fluorescent dye formulated for the specific labeling of DNA within cell nuclei. It is supplied as a 1000X concentrate in a 100 µL volume of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). This reagent is designed for use with fixed cellular samples or tissue sections, where it provides a far-red to near-infrared counterstain. Its excitation and emission maxima are approximately 680 nm and 700 nm, respectively, making it compatible with imaging systems equipped for these longer wavelengths. The high-concentration stock solution allows for economical use, as it is typically diluted prior to application.
