Description

The NovoCyte Quanteon Flow Cytometer represents an evolution in Agilent's flow cytometry portfolio, emphasizing sensitivity and dynamic range. It is a four-laser system configurable with up to 25 independent photomultiplier tubes (PMTs). A key feature is its proprietary PMT technology, which provides a reported 7.2-log dynamic range, aiming to capture both very dim and very bright signals within a single analysis view. This design seeks to reduce the time typically spent on manual PMT voltage optimization. The fluidics system is engineered for consistent sample delivery and low coefficient of variation (CV) values. The instrument can perform absolute cell counting without reference beads. It is compatible with 12 x 75 mm tubes, 1.5 mL and 2.0 mL tubes, and microtiter plates (24-well to 384-well), with a flow rate range of 5-120 µl/min.
