Description

The ND-080 chamber from TopAir Systems is a specialized forensic workstation designed for the controlled development of latent fingerprints using chemical reagents such as Ninhydrin and DFO. This cabinet creates an optimized environment by precisely regulating temperature and humidity, which are critical parameters for effective processing. For Ninhydrin treatments, conditions can be set to 80°C with 65% relative humidity, while DFO and Indandione processes typically operate at 100°C under dry conditions. Operation is managed through a dedicated software interface with an intuitive touchscreen, allowing users to program cycles, monitor progress, and receive alerts. The unit's construction features a stainless steel interior, comprehensive insulation, and a double-glazed viewing window to maintain temperature stability. Additional functional elements include three removable perforated shelves, hanging clips for item suspension, an interior drying system, LED illumination, and an external port for refilling the humidity reservoir. With exterior dimensions of 730 x 600 x 1450 mm, it provides an interior workspace of 600 x 450 x 550 mm.
