Nicolet™ iN10 Infrared Microscope
Manufacturer: Thermo Fisher Scientific
SKU: IQLAADGAAGFAHDMAPD
Description
The Nicolet iN10 is a fully integrated infrared microscope designed for microanalysis. It operates as a standalone FT-IR system, eliminating the need for an external spectrometer and conserving laboratory space. The instrument covers a spectral range from 7600 to 650 cm⁻¹ and is reported to achieve a signal-to-noise ratio better than 25,000:1 with a cooled detector using a 100 µm aperture. Its integrated design incorporates computer-controlled automation, allowing all system parameters to be managed from the software interface. Features include programmable sample coordinates for repetitive tasks and support for dual-monitor operation. The system includes tools for performance verification to ensure data confidence. The user interface is based on the OMNIC Picta software, which simplifies operation with automated routines for common micro-analysis tasks. Spectral identification is supported by OMNIC Specta software. The microscope offers configurable options, including a MicroTip ATR accessory for direct contact sampling, a liquid nitrogen-cooled MCT detector for enhanced sensitivity, and a choice of manual or motorized stages. It can also be expanded with the optional iZ10 module to function with standard FTIR sample compartment accessories.
