Description
The Nexera XR is a UHPLC system designed to provide a robust and efficient workflow for fast chromatographic separations. It operates at a maximum pressure of 70 MPa (approximately 10,000 psi), which is well-suited for use with superficially porous particle (SPP) columns that offer high efficiency with relatively lower backpressure. The system is capable of achieving separations within five to ten minutes. It features a rapid injection cycle of seven seconds with ultralow carryover. Flow rates are pressure-dependent: 0.0001 to 3 mL/min at 1.0–70 MPa, 3 to 5 mL/min at 1.0–44 MPa, and 5 to 10 mL/min at 1.0–22 MPa. Analytical Intelligence functions facilitate laboratory management by enabling remote monitoring of instrument status via a web browser or smart device, optimizing resource use, and increasing throughput. Operational control is available through a touch-panel interface without requiring a connected computer. Automated features include smart flow control, system startup, recovery, diagnostics, and real-time mobile phase monitoring. Data analysis is supported by the i-PeakFinder tool for automatic peak identification and the i-PDeA II function for deconvoluting overlapping peaks. The system is compatible with detectors such as UV, PDA, ELSD, Fluorescence, RID, and Conductivity.
