Description

The Nexera UFPLC system is an automated platform for ultra-fast preparative liquid chromatography and compound purification. It integrates the steps of separation, concentration, purification, and fraction collection into a streamlined workflow. A key feature is the use of a trap column to concentrate target analytes and remove non-volatile salts and counter-ions derived from the mobile phase. By repeatedly injecting samples and trapping the compounds of interest, the system can concentrate up to 100 mg of material. Subsequent elution with an organic solvent allows for the recovery of highly concentrated product, which can significantly reduce the time required for solvent evaporation compared to traditional methods. The system is compatible with various detectors, including UV, PDA, ELSD, LCMS, and other analog-to-digital compatible units. It operates at flow rates up to 150 mL/min with a maximum pressure of 42 MPa. Dedicated Purification Solution software simplifies operational settings and offers multiple fractionation modes: automated, manual, and time-specified. The system can also function in a standard preparative chromatography mode, collecting fractions directly without the concentration step.
