Nexera UHPLC Method Scouting
Manufacturer: Shimadzu
SKU: Nexera Method Scouting
Description
The Nexera UHPLC Method Scouting system is designed to automate and accelerate the process of chromatographic method development. Method scouting involves evaluating various combinations of mobile phases and column chemistries to identify the most effective separation parameters for a given sample. This system streamlines what are traditionally manual and time-consuming tasks, such as solvent preparation, column switching, and method programming. Its core comprises two LC-30AD solvent delivery pumps, each equipped with a quaternary valve. This configuration enables the creation of binary gradients from a selection of up to 16 different solvent pairs. A high-pressure column selection valve can accommodate between one and six columns, facilitating the automated testing of up to 96 unique separation conditions per sample. The associated Method Scouting Solution software provides an interface for configuring pump and valve settings, defining gradient programs, and automatically generating sequence tables. The software also manages data analysis and system control according to predefined laboratory protocols. The system supports a maximum pressure of 100 MPa and utilizes an SPD-M20A detector.
