NEX QC Series EDXRF Spectrometers

Manufacturer: Rigaku Corporation

SKU: NEX QC Series

Description

The NEX QC Series from Rigaku is a family of EDXRF spectrometers designed for routine testing and quality control applications. These compact analyzers deliver non-destructive elemental analysis from sodium (Na) to uranium (U) for various materials such as solids, liquids, powders, pastes, polymers, metals, coatings, and thin films. The series offers three models to match different analytical needs and budgets. The base NEX QC model provides essential functionality for basic quality control tasks. The NEX QC+ model enhances performance with a higher-resolution semiconductor detector and improved counting statistics for more demanding measurements; both the QC and QC+ models feature an integrated touchscreen interface and built-in printer for straightforward operation. The NEX QC+ QuantEZ model adds the capability of QuantEZ software, running on an external computer, which supports both empirical and fundamental parameters (FP) calibration methods for advanced quantitative analysis. All models are built around a 50 kV, 4 W silver-anode X-ray tube and utilize multiple automated tube filters to optimize sensitivity for different elements. With a focus on ease of use, a small footprint, and low cost of ownership, the series is a practical solution for laboratories requiring reliable elemental data for process verification and material screening.
