The New Brunswick S41i CO2 Incubator Shaker is a dual-function instrument that merges the capabilities of a precise CO2 incubator with an orbital shaker. It enables simultaneous static and agitated cell culture within a single, controlled chamber. The unit provides temperature control from 4 °C above the ambient laboratory temperature up to 50 °C. Chamber dimensions are approximately 69.1 cm wide, 44.4 cm deep, and 53.3 cm high, with an external footprint of 83.4 cm wide, 73 cm deep, and 84.8 cm high. CO2 concentration is measured and regulated using an infrared (IR) sensor for accuracy. The design incorporates a fanless airflow system and offers a High Temperature Disinfection (HTD) protocol to reduce contamination risk. Sealed doors assist in maintaining environmental stability and conserving gas.
