New Brunswick™ CelliGen® BLU Bioreactor
Manufacturer: Eppendorf North America
SKU: Inquire
Description
The New Brunswick CelliGen BLU is a benchtop bioreactor system designed to integrate single-use vessel technology with the established performance of a stirred-tank configuration. It is suitable for applications ranging from research to production-scale processes. The system operates with a Reactor Process Controller (RPC) software platform, which manages up to 32 distinct process parameters and can trend data from eight control loops. Available in three single-use, rigid-walled vessel sizes with total capacities of 5 L, 14 L, and 50 L, the system offers working volumes from 1.3 to 40 liters. Each vessel is supplied pre-sterilized and includes a noninvasive optical pH probe and a single-use fluorescence sensor; a gel-filled probe is an optional accessory. Process control features include integrated management for up to eight gases for sparging and overlay, available in high and low flow thermal mass flow controller configurations. Standard system components encompass three integrated pumps, a magnetic-drive motor, and controls for temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen. A 7-port analog Input/Output panel provides connectivity for additional peripherals. System operation and monitoring are conducted via a bright industrial touchscreen display.
