Description

The CelliGen 510 Sterilizable-in-Place (SIP) Bioreactor is a compact system intended for pilot-scale and small-scale production of cell cultures. Its SIP capability allows for efficient sterilization without removing the vessel from its setup, supporting consistent aseptic operation. The system features a modular design with a wide array of standard options, making it adaptable to diverse process requirements. It can be controlled either by dedicated Reactor Process Control (RPC) software or an optional Allen Bradley PLC for industrial automation integration. Available in benchtop or mobile configurations, it uses stainless-steel electropolished vessels with a 2:1 aspect ratio, offered in 15.6 L and 32.0 L capacities (working volume 5.5 to 32 L). Key components include an integrated load cell for weight monitoring, three fixed-speed peristaltic pumps for reagent addition, harvest, and pH control, and a choice of impellers such as pitched-blade, marine-blade, spin filter, cell-lift, or packed-bed designs. Operation is managed through an industrial touchscreen interface.
