New Brunswick™ BioFlo® 610 Sterilize-in-Place (SIP) Fermentor

Description

The New Brunswick BioFlo 610 is a mobile, pilot-scale fermentor designed for process development and small-scale production runs. It utilizes a sterilize-in-place (SIP) design for vessel preparation. The system is modular, offering a range of standard and optional features to customize it for specific fermentation processes. It is equipped with 316L stainless steel, electropolished vessels available in 50-liter and 100-liter sizes, which have a 3:1 aspect ratio. Standard components include an integrated load cell, three fixed-speed peristaltic pumps for additions, harvest, and pH control, and Rushton-type impellers (with other impeller styles available optionally). Control is facilitated through an industrial touchscreen interface and compatible process control software. The entire system is mounted on a mobile base for flexibility within the laboratory.
