NDA 702 Dumas Nitrogen Analyzer

Manufacturer: VELP Scientific, Inc.

SKU: NDA 702

Description

The NDA 702 from VELP Scientific, Inc. is a combustion-based elemental analyzer for determining nitrogen and protein content via the Dumas method. It is designed for automated operation and cloud connectivity. The analyzer accommodates solid, liquid, and viscous samples with a weight of up to one gram and has a measuring range from ppm levels up to 200 mg of nitrogen. A typical analysis cycle is completed within three to four minutes. The system utilizes a proprietary LoGas™ Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD), which is reported to provide a low limit of detection. For sample handling, the instrument includes a 30-position electronic autosampler, which can be expanded with additional discs. It operates at a high combustion temperature and offers the flexibility to use either helium or argon as a carrier gas without requiring hardware modifications. Integrated safety features are designed to halt analysis if irregularities are detected, with notifications available through a connected cloud platform. The associated software is intended to simplify operation and data management.
