Description

The Navios EX is a flow cytometer from Beckman Coulter Life Sciences engineered for clinical laboratory environments where reliability and standardized workflows are critical. The system is configured to measure up to 12 parameters across 10 fluorescence channels, providing detailed phenotypic analysis. It accommodates standard 5 mL tubes and operates at a flow rate range of 10 to 70 µL per minute. The instrument incorporates optical and laser technology derived from research-grade platforms to deliver clear population resolution. A key feature is the availability of two forward scatter angles, which enhances flexibility for detecting small particles and analyzing dim fluorescent signals. To support high-throughput operations and data integrity, the system includes a built-in barcode scanner for four-way sample identification and offers bi-directional Laboratory Information System (LIS) connectivity for automated worklist management and reporting. The design includes a thermoregulation system to maintain a consistent temperature in the optical compartment, promoting data stability and reducing laser downtime.
