NanoDrop™ Lite Plus Spectrophotometer

Description

The NanoDrop Lite Plus is a compact, personal UV-Vis spectrophotometer intended for routine microvolume measurements. It provides fixed-wavelength analysis at 230 nm, 260 nm, and 280 nm, which are standard for quantifying DNA, RNA, and proteins and calculating purity ratios (A260/A280 and A260/A230). Its optical system utilizes a 2048-element CMOS linear image sensor, with a resolution of 1.8 nm or less. The device employs the established NanoDrop sampling method where a small sample is held by surface tension between two optical surfaces, eliminating the need for cuvettes or dilutions. It can measure concentrations with an absorbance range up to 30 Abs. The instrument includes built-in software and controls, operating independently without a connected computer. An optional printer is available for generating labels.
