The NaioSTM system from Nanosurf AG is a scanning tunneling microscope designed for atomic-scale surface imaging. It succeeds the Easyscan 2 STM, integrating the scan head and controller into a single compact unit. This design simplifies setup, operation, and transportation while conserving laboratory bench space. The instrument is engineered for stability, with a construction that provides robustness against vibrations, making it suitable for standard classroom or laboratory environments. It achieves atomic resolution imaging, with specified scan resolutions of 7.6 pm in the X and Y axes and 3.1 pm in the Z axis. The maximum scan range is 500 nm by 500 nm by 200 nm (XYZ).
