Multi-Pulse Vortexers

Description

Glas-Col's Multi-Pulse Vortexers feature an interchangeable cartridge system for mixing various tube sizes without needing separate tube racks. The units operate at variable speeds from 100 to 2000 rpm and incorporate a pulsing function that periodically interrupts the vortex action to promote more thorough mixing of sample strata. Constructed with a steel and aluminum frame, the vortexer has dimensions of 18.25 by 7 by 13.5 inches (WxDxH). Standard cartridges are made from chemical-resistant foam and ABS plastic, allowing mixing of both capped and uncapped tubes while keeping contents visible. The system is supplied with two cartridges for tubes of 12-13 mm and 15-16 mm diameter, and blank cartridges enable the use of standard laboratory racks.
