Description
The MV One is a digital Mooney viscometer used primarily for testing raw or compounded rubber and elastomers. It performs standard measurements of Mooney viscosity, Mooney scorch time, and stress relaxation, which are essential for evaluating processability and cure characteristics. Tests are conducted under isothermal conditions, with a standard rotational speed of 2 rpm and an optional variable speed range from 0.1 to 10 rpm. The instrument has a torque measurement range of 0.01 to 200 Mooney units (MU) and can control chamber temperature from ambient levels up to 200°C.
