Intended for voluminous, low-density samples, the PCE-UX 3081WQ moisture analyzer features an expansive drying chamber with a 360 cm³ capacity and a 400-gram maximum load. It offers a precise weighing resolution of 0.001 grams. The heating system utilizes two 400 W halogen heaters, allowing temperature adjustment from 105°C to 360°C for efficient drying of a wide range of materials. The instrument operates on the thermogravimetric principle, continuously measuring sample weight to compute and display moisture percentage and related parameters. User-configurable automatic stop conditions, a timer (1-180 minutes), and a menu lock enhance control and repeatability. Nine program memory locations facilitate workflow efficiency for common test protocols. Data output is supported via RS-232 and USB interfaces for connection to computers or external printers; optional software enables detailed data analysis and GLP-compliant documentation.
