Description

Designed for high-temperature applications, the PCE-UX 3011HQ moisture and ash analyzer can heat samples up to 600°C. It integrates a precision balance with a 200-gram capacity and 0.001-gram resolution within a furnace enclosure, making it suitable for analyzing temperature-insensitive materials like construction aggregates, industrial powders, and sewage sludge. The device operates by continuously weighing a sample during the drying or ashing cycle, calculating moisture or ash content based on weight loss. User-configurable settings include an automatic stop function based on weight stability, a programmable timer, and storage for nine method profiles. Data output is facilitated through RS-232 and USB ports, with an integrated printer that can be deactivated if needed. A four-digit device ID supports traceability, and a menu lock function helps maintain parameter integrity. Optional PC software is available for extended data management and GLP-compliant documentation.
