Description

The PCE-UX 3011 is a moisture analyzer designed for determining moisture content in temperature-insensitive solid materials. It operates on the thermogravimetric principle, where a sample is dried by a halogen heater while its weight is continuously monitored on an integrated balance. The device features a maximum drying temperature of 360°C, a weighing capacity of 220 grams, and a measurement resolution of 0.001 grams. It is suited for applications in industries such as construction (e.g., cement, gravel), chemical processing, and raw material analysis. Operational functions include an automatic stop feature that halts drying when weight stabilizes, configurable via parameters for sampling start, interval, and weight loss. A programmable timer allows runs from 1 to 180 minutes, and up to nine drying profiles can be stored in memory. Data output and GLP-compliant documentation are facilitated via RS-232 and USB interfaces, with optional PC software available for data transfer. The unit includes a menu lock function and a four-digit device ID for traceability.
