Description

The MIC-101 Modular Incubator Chamber from Embrient Inc. is a cylindrical, airtight vessel for creating controlled atmospheric conditions for cell culture and related research. Its exterior dimensions are 33 cm in diameter by 12 cm in height. The chamber is designed to hold various labware, with a capacity for items such as 100 standard 35mm petri dishes, 12 100mm dishes, 12 96-well plates, or 18 25-cm² tissue culture flasks. Primary applications include establishing hypoxic or hyperoxic environments, stem cell research, cryopreservation, drug development, and malaria studies. The chamber features a reliable seal that, when closed, can maintain constant gas concentrations for a minimum of 72 hours. Its cylindrical shape promotes even gas distribution, and the seamless interior with rolled corners facilitates cleaning and sterilization with 70% alcohol.
