Description

Shimadzu's MOC63u moisture balance provides a method for determining moisture content in various sample types. It utilizes a halogen heating element with a programmable temperature range from 50°C to 200°C, adjustable in 1°C increments. The balance has a capacity of 60 grams and offers a selectable minimum display of 0.001 grams or 0.01/0.1% for moisture. It features an automatic start function that initiates measurement upon closing the lid. The sample pan has a diameter of 95mm to accommodate different material shapes. The weighing system employs a UniBloc aluminum alloy mass sensor designed for stable performance. The unit includes multiple drying modes, such as rapid, slow, and step drying. Internal memory allows storage for 10 measurement condition profiles and 100 results. Connectivity options include a built-in USB port, requiring a driver installation, and a standard RS-232C interface. This model is used in food, environmental, chemical, and pharmaceutical testing applications.
