Description

The Shimadzu MOC-120H is an electronic moisture balance designed for precise determination of moisture content in solid and semi-solid samples. It operates across a temperature range of 30 to 180°C, suitable for a variety of materials. The unit has a weighing capacity of 120 grams with a minimum display of 0.001 grams, and it measures moisture content from 0.01% to 100.00%. A key component is the UniBloc weighing mechanism, a monolithic aluminum alloy sensor that provides stable measurements with consistent corner-load performance and resistance to thermal drift. The device includes a large 130mm diameter sample pan to increase surface area for efficient drying. Users can program and store multiple drying methods with configurable temperature controls and endpoint determination. Data can be transferred directly to a PC via the Windows Direct function without requiring additional software. This instrument is applicable in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, agriculture, and chemicals where reliable moisture analysis is required.
