Mixer Mill MM 500 Nano
Manufacturer: Verder Scientific
SKU: MM 500 nano
Description
Engineered for nanoparticle production, the MM 500 nano mixer mill achieves ultrafine grinding results. It operates at a frequency range of 3 to 35 Hz, generating high energy through impact and friction to pulverize samples down to approximately 0.1 micrometers. The unit is designed for dry, wet, or cryogenic processing of materials up to 2 x 45 ml in volume and is built for extended operation, supporting grinding processes lasting up to 99 hours. It features multi-cavity jar configurations, adapters for small tubes, and Screw-Lock jars that are pressure-tight up to 5 bar. The instrument includes memory for 12 standard operating procedures and four program cycles, along with optional systems for temperature/pressure measurement and inert gas grinding. It provides a practical alternative to planetary ball milling, offering reduced warming effects during sample preparation.
