Mixer Mill MM 500 control

Manufacturer: Verder Scientific

SKU: MM 500 control

Description

The MM 500 control mixer mill is a versatile bench-top instrument that combines grinding with precise temperature management. It can operate within an extensive temperature spectrum from -100°C to +100°C, allowing for sample cooling or heating during processing. The mill performs dry, wet, or cryogenic grinding of up to two samples with a combined volume of 90 ml, using impact and friction principles at frequencies up to 30 Hz. This energy is sufficient to reduce particle sizes into the nanometer range. Designed for robustness, it supports long-duration runs up to 99 hours and is applicable for mechanochemistry. Key attributes include pressure-tight Screw-Lock jars rated to 5 bar, memory for 12 SOPs, optional GrindControl for monitoring pressure and temperature, and the capability for grinding under inert gas. Its dimensions are 690 mm wide, 585 mm deep, and 375 mm high.
