Gilson's MINIPULS 3 is a compact peristaltic pump designed for precise, low-pulse liquid transfer. Its positive displacement mechanism utilizes up to ten stainless steel rollers to deliver a smooth flow, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility even at higher rates. The pump features a stepper motor with adjustable speed control and is compatible with precision bore tubing. A key characteristic is its modularity, with six different interchangeable pump head configurations available to suit various flow requirements. Standard models with 1, 2, 4, or 8 channels offer flow rates from microliters per minute up to 30 mL/min. For higher volume applications, high-flow models with 2 or 4 channels can deliver from 1 mL/min to 220 mL/min. Operation is facilitated by a straightforward keypad and LCD screen for controlling start/stop functions, flow direction, and flow rate, and includes a priming feature. The pump also supports remote control capabilities. This design makes it suitable for handling a diverse range of biological and chemical fluids without contaminating the pump's internal components.
