Mini UV Transilluminator
Manufacturer: BT Lab Systems
Description
The Mini UV Transilluminator from BT Lab Systems is a compact illumination device used primarily in molecular biology for visualizing nucleic acids or proteins stained with fluorescent dyes following gel electrophoresis. It emits ultraviolet light at a wavelength of 302 nm from a 6-watt source. The illuminated viewing area, or field of view, measures 150 mm by 80 mm, suitable for inspecting standard mini-gels. Its small size makes it appropriate for benchtop use in laboratories where space is limited.
