Mini Rotators

Description

The Glas-Col Mini Rotators are compact benchtop devices designed for rotational mixing in confined laboratory spaces. Their small footprint allows placement within incubators, refrigerators, biological safety cabinets, or fume hoods where larger equipment would not fit. These units are suitable for processing microcentrifuge and micro test tubes across a range of sample volumes. A variable speed control provides rotational mixing from 2 to 80 rpm, enabling gentle to more vigorous agitation. The mixing chamber is fixed at a 20-degree angle to promote effective fluid motion. Powered by a permanent-magnet motor, the device maintains consistent speed under load. It is supplied with an aluminum disk head and spring clips capable of accommodating tubes with diameters of 5-10 mm and 12-14 mm. This disk can hold up to 15 tubes simultaneously and does not require balancing. The head assembly is interchangeable via a single-screw attachment system. The housing is constructed from chemical-resistant materials.
