Millicell® Microwell Plates

Description

These are specialized 96-well plates designed for three-dimensional cell culture models, particularly organoids and spheroids. The plates feature a U-bottom well geometry, available in two depths: 400 micrometers and 600 micrometers. The clear plastic bottom of each well is coated with a hydrogel to create a low-attachment surface, which encourages cells to aggregate and form 3D structures rather than adhering to the plate. Each well has a working volume of 200 microliters. The plates include a lid and feature a skirted design for stability during handling and robotic automation. They are supplied in a pack of five plates. The product is suitable for high-throughput screening, drug discovery research, and developmental biology studies involving complex cell aggregates.
