Description

This product is a set of 48 hanging cell culture inserts intended for 24-well plates. Each insert incorporates a Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) membrane with a larger pore size of 3.0 micrometers. The hanging configuration facilitates the creation of a two-chamber system within a single well, which is useful for co-culture experiments, migration assays, or studies requiring compartmentalization. The 3 µm pores permit enhanced molecular exchange and can allow for the movement of certain cell types. Common applications include cell attachment, routine culture, differentiation studies, and immunocytochemistry.
