Description

The Millicell Digital Cell Imager is an instrument for the routine assessment of cell cultures. It is designed to perform repetitive tasks associated with cell passaging more efficiently by providing objective, quantitative data. The device allows users to quickly capture images and analyze key parameters such as cell confluency, count, and morphology. This objective measurement aims to reduce user bias and promote greater consistency in cell culture maintenance. The imager can perform measurements either on a traditional hemocytometer or directly within a culture vessel. Operation involves a simplified two-click process for image capture. The unit features connectivity via USB, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi and includes integration with a web-based cloud service for convenient data storage, archiving, and management. The physical dimensions of the instrument are 11 inches in width, 6 inches in length, and 12 inches in height.
