Milli-Q® IQ 7000 Ultrapure Lab Water System
Manufacturer: Merck KGaA
SKU: ZIQ7000T0 / ZIQ7000WW
Description
The Milli-Q IQ 7000 is an ultrapure water system designed to produce Type 1 water for critical analytical applications. It delivers water with a resistivity of 18.2 MΩ·cm and a total organic carbon (TOC) level of 2 ppb or lower. The flow rate is adjustable from 0.05 to 2 liters per minute. Purification is achieved through a combination of ion-exchange resins, including Jetpore and IQnano technologies, and a mercury-free UV lamp for oxidation. The system features a compact main unit that can be installed out of the way, while user interaction is primarily through a separate Q-POD dispenser. A large interactive touchscreen provides control and access to system data. Key functionalities include volumetric dispensing and a 'drop-by-drop' mode for precise aliquots. The system incorporates data tracking for dispense reports and water quality traceability. An energy-saving 'LabClose' mode reduces power and water consumption during periods of inactivity. The system is identified by the manufacturer as a Greener Alternative Product, utilizing less plastic and electricity than prior models. It also offers connectivity for remote monitoring, diagnostics, and service through the MyMilli-Q digital platform.
