Micromeritics AutoChem III
Manufacturer: Malvern Panalytical
SKU: AutoChem
Description
The Micromeritics AutoChem III is an automated chemisorption analyzer used for characterizing the properties of catalysts and other reactive solids. It performs temperature-programmed techniques, including reduction (TPR), oxidation (TPO), and desorption (TPD), to study surface chemistry, active metal dispersion, and acid site strength. The system offers precise temperature control from ambient conditions up to 1200°C. It is equipped with six gas inlets for preparation (supporting gases like hydrogen, oxygen, helium, argon, and mixtures) and six for carrier streams, allowing for complex experimental protocols. Designed for automation and reproducibility, the AutoChem III is applied in research areas such as net-zero technologies, fuel cell development, and catalytic processes like partial oxidation.
