Description

The MICROMAN E from Gilson is a positive-displacement pipette system designed for handling challenging liquids. It utilizes disposable capillary piston (CP) tips, where the piston is integrated into the tip and makes direct contact with the sample. This design is particularly effective for pipetting viscous, volatile, hot, or cold liquids, as it eliminates the air cushion found in standard air-displacement pipettes, thereby improving accuracy and precision. The pipette is available in six models covering a volume range from 1 µL to 1000 µL. It features an ergonomic design with a volume-control switch and a QuickSnap mechanism for secure tip attachment and easy, touch-free ejection. The system helps protect both the user and the pipette from contamination by aerosols or corrosive samples.
