Micro Bio-Spin™ P-30 Gel Columns, SSC Buffer

Description

Micro Bio-Spin™ P-30 Gel Columns from Bio-Rad are pre-packed with P-30 gel in a saline-sodium citrate (SSC) buffer. They are intended for the purification of nucleic acids and proteins, specifically to separate these molecules from salts, nucleotides, dyes, and other small compounds with a molecular weight under approximately 30,000 daltons. The spin column format allows for quick processing using a standard microcentrifuge. This method is effective for cleaning up samples after enzymatic reactions, such as labeling or phosphorylation, or for buffer exchange prior to downstream applications like sequencing or hybridization.
