MFS/1 ISO Minimum Free Space ISO Oven

Description

This MFS/1 ISO Minimum Free Space Oven is intended for the drying of coal samples following ISO standard procedures. It is engineered with a chamber of minimal practical volume to efficiently heat a specified mass of coal under a stream of nitrogen or air. The standard drying process operates within a temperature range of 105 to 110 degrees Celsius, while the oven can reach a maximum temperature of 210 degrees Celsius. An aluminum chamber construction provides resistance to corrosion and oxidation while promoting uniform heat distribution. The unit has a capacity of 1.4 and is equipped with digital over-temperature protection. It is used for testing coal and coke, particularly for drying applications and loss on drying analyses.
