Description

The MEDIAJET Media Processor from INTEGRA Biosciences is an automated system for dispensing liquid media into laboratory containers. It is capable of handling volumes from 1 to 99.9 ml per dispensing cycle. The unit has a notable batch capacity, able to fill up to 540 Petri dishes in a single automated run. Its compact footprint measures 655 mm wide, 634 mm deep, and 330 mm high. The system is designed for walk-away operation and features a monitored dish guidance mechanism intended to prevent jams from dish variations. It can be configured to process different Petri dish diameters, including 90 mm, 60 mm, and 35 mm. An integrated shaker function supports applications like pour plates. An optional TUBEFILLER accessory allows the system to also fill test tubes, with a reported throughput of up to 1000 tubes per hour.
