INTEGRA Biosciences manufactures the MEDIACLAVE series, a line of media sterilizers available in two primary chamber sizes. The MC 10 model handles volumes from 1 to 10 liters, while the MC 30 model processes 3 to 30 liters. Both units function within a temperature spectrum of 70°C to 122°C. Externally, the MC 10 measures 480 mm high by 550 mm wide by 640 mm deep, and the MC 30 measures 1040 mm high by 550 mm wide by 640 mm deep. These devices are constructed for the precise sterilization of liquid culture media, a foundational step in many microbiological and cell culture procedures. The design emphasizes process control over temperature, time, and pressure to ensure reproducible media quality.
