Description

The OHAUS MB23 is a straightforward moisture analyzer suitable for routine loss-on-drying determinations. It utilizes an infrared heater and has a backlit LCD display. The instrument provides a weighing capacity of 110 grams with a readability of 0.01 grams. The heating range is from 50°C to 160°C, adjustable in 5°C steps. Operation is simplified with a single standard heating profile. The analysis can be concluded based on three shut-off criteria: manual stop, a timed duration, or an automatic stop when weight loss ceases. Standard features include audible alerts, an auto shut-off function, a hinged cover to contain samples, and built-in aids for setup such as a level indicator and adjustable leveling feet. A security bracket is included for theft prevention, and a stability indicator shows when the weight reading is steady for reliable results.
