Description

The OHAUS MB120 Moisture Analyzer is a precision instrument designed for determining moisture content in various materials. It features a halogen heating system and a color touchscreen interface for user-friendly operation. The device offers a weighing capacity of 120 grams with a readability of 1 mg or 0.01%. Its temperature can be precisely controlled from 40°C to 230°C in 1°C increments. For method development, the SmartGuide function assists in quickly creating appropriate drying procedures. Users can select from four distinct drying profiles—standard, fast, ramp, and step—and configure the endpoint using one of seven shut-off criteria, including manual, timed, and various automatic modes based on weight loss rate. The unit supports data management with storage for up to 100 user-defined methods and 1000 test results. Operational features include GLP/GMP compliance with data output, a stability indicator, leveling feet, a security bracket, and a software lockout function. It is also equipped with a hinged cover and supports 14 different languages.
