Max-Flux TXRF Optic Focusing Graded Multilayer Monochromator
Manufacturer: Rigaku Corporation
SKU: Max-Flux TXRF
Description
The Max-Flux TXRF Optic is a focusing graded multilayer monochromator designed for Total Reflection X-ray Fluorescence (TXRF) spectrometry. It utilizes a graded multilayer coating to direct X-rays, a technology pioneered by Rigaku in the 1990s to enhance signal intensity while reducing background noise in analytical measurements. A key feature of this optic is its elliptical geometry, which ensures a consistent X-ray energy is diffracted across the entire optical surface, improving beam focus. The precision of the multilayer d-spacing, achieved through Rigaku's Osmic coating technology, is maintained with a variation of less than 0.5%, contributing to high flux delivery. Optical curvature is manufactured to a standard precision of approximately 10 arcseconds, with an optional high-precision ArcSec process available to achieve a curve within 4 arcseconds of the ideal for maximum performance. This monochromator is noted for facilitating easier alignment, providing excellent control over beam profile and divergence, and is available for use with various X-ray sources including Cu, Mo, Co, Ag, Au, Cr, W Ka, and W Kß energies.
