MATRIX-MG Gas Analyzers

Manufacturer: Bruker Optics

SKU: MG01 / MG2 / MG5

Description

The MATRIX-MG series from Bruker Optics comprises FT-IR based gas analyzers designed for precise quantification of gas mixtures. These systems utilize a Fourier Transform Infrared spectrometer core, typically equipped with a liquid nitrogen-cooled MCT detector, though other detector types like DTGS are optional. The standard spectral range covers 4800 to 720 cm⁻¹, with other ranges available. A defining feature, particularly in models like the MG5, is the incorporation of a multi-pass gas cell (e.g., 5 meters) that increases the optical path length, enhancing sensitivity for detecting trace gases down to parts-per-billion (ppb) levels. The analyzers are built into a rugged housing and often include a temperature-controlled gas cell with internal sensors to account for pressure and temperature variations in the sample. They support automated, continuous operation for identifying and quantifying gas components and can interface with industrial communication systems.
