Description

The MATRIX-MG series from Bruker Optics comprises FT-IR based gas analyzers designed for precise quantification of gas mixtures. These systems utilize a Fourier Transform Infrared spectrometer core, typically equipped with a liquid nitrogen-cooled MCT detector, though other detector types like DTGS are optional. The standard spectral range covers 4800 to 720 cm⁻¹, with other ranges available. A defining feature, particularly in models like the MG5, is the incorporation of a multi-pass gas cell (e.g., 5 meters) that increases the optical path length, enhancing sensitivity for detecting trace gases down to parts-per-billion (ppb) levels.
