Description

The MALDImini-1 is a compact digital ion trap mass spectrometer that utilizes MALDI ionization. Its small, lightweight design allows for installation in confined spaces, such as near sample preparation areas. The instrument has a mass range of m/z 650 to 70,000 for standard MS analysis and m/z 350 to 5,000 for MS/MS experiments. As a digital ion trap system, it enables MSn capabilities, including MS/MS and MS3, for detailed structural analysis of compounds like glycopeptides, post-translationally modified proteins, and branched glycans. Sample preparation is straightforward, involving spotting of sample and matrix onto a plate followed by drying.
