Description

The PCE-MSR 5 is a bench-top magnetic stirrer that incorporates a heating element for temperature-controlled mixing of laboratory liquids. It is designed to handle volumes up to two liters, with an adjustable stirring speed ranging from 300 to 1500 revolutions per minute. The device provides two distinct temperature settings for the heating plate: one maintains a maximum of 40°C (104°F), while the other reaches up to 80°C (176°F). Its stirring surface consists of tempered glass measuring 115 by 115 millimeters, with the heated zone having an 80-millimeter diameter. A single stirring position is featured, driven by a 15-watt brushless motor. Power is supplied via an external 5-volt, 3-ampere adapter. The unit includes a magnetic stirring bar measuring 8 millimeters in diameter and 30 millimeters in length.
