Description

The PCE-MSR 45 is a magnetic stirrer and hot plate that balances a substantial 20-liter mixing capacity with high-temperature heating capabilities. Its stirring speed is adjustable from 100 to 2000 rpm. The ceramic-coated, cast aluminum heating plate can reach temperatures up to 350°C and features a surface area of 170 x 170 mm. For precise thermal management, it is compatible with an external temperature sensor capable of measuring up to 250°C directly in the sample. Safety is addressed with a visual LED warning for hot surfaces. The unit incorporates a brushless motor for durability and offers user conveniences such as reversible rotation direction and a comprehensive timer. Controlled via a 3.7-inch LCD, this instrument is applicable in research and industrial contexts where simultaneous, controlled heating and vigorous stirring of larger samples are required.
