Description

The PCE-MSR 30 is a compact magnetic stirrer and hot plate designed for smaller-scale laboratory work. It accommodates liquid volumes up to 5 liters and provides a stirring speed range from 100 to 1600 rpm. A key feature is its integrated heating system, which uses PID control to accurately regulate the temperature of the cast aluminum plate from ambient conditions up to 300°C. For enhanced precision, the unit supports an external temperature sensor to monitor the sample medium directly. The device offers operational flexibility with features like an adjustable rotation direction, a timer adjustable from one second to nearly 100 hours, and the ability to save up to six distinct stirring programs. Its single stirring position and 155 x 155 mm work surface make it well-suited for precise applications in chemical synthesis, pharmaceutical development, and materials research.
