MACSQuant® Tyto® Lux Cell Sorter

Description

The MACSQuant Tyto Lux Cell Sorter is an advanced flow cytometry instrument that incorporates microchip technology within a closed cartridge. This design provides a sterile, aerosol-free workflow for cell sorting. The system is equipped with four laser lines for excitation at 405 nm, 488 nm, 552 nm, and 638 nm, enabling detection across up to 12 fluorescent channels. This configuration supports complex multicolor panel design. Performance varies with the cartridge type: the standard cartridge operates at a flow rate of 4 mL/h with a throughput up to 55,000 cells/s, while the high-speed (HS) cartridge operates at 8 mL/h with a throughput up to 180,000 cells/s. The instrument uses MACSQuantify Tyto Software for operation and data analysis. An optional software module is available to support compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 regulations, featuring electronic signatures and audit trails. The gentle sorting process is intended to preserve cell viability for downstream applications.
