Description
The MACSQuant X Flow Cytometer is engineered as a compact, high-throughput system for automated screening applications. It is configured with three lasers for excitation at 405 nm (violet), 488 nm (blue), and 640 nm (red) and detects eight fluorescence parameters alongside forward and side scatter. A primary design goal is to maximize sample processing speed while maintaining data reliability. The system can interface with external liquid handling robots and plate hotels for fully automated workflows. It is capable of analyzing samples from standard tubes, 96-well plates, and 384-well plates, with reported throughputs of up to 9,200 samples per day under optimized conditions. Features such as orbital and needle mixing are incorporated to ensure consistent sample homogeneity and accurate cell counts during plate-based runs. The instrument has a larger footprint than other models in the series, measuring 814 mm in width, 474 mm in depth, and with a height adjustable from 427 to 586.5 mm. Software options are available to support data integrity standards required by 21 CFR Part 11 in regulated settings.
